Default Bought Bird

Picking up new ( to us ) Bird next week in Fort Worth. Driving back to Colorado. Could use some help from other owners regarding insurance, registration and storage. Happy to be here ( after ten years of lurking), looking forward to getting behind the wheel and perhaps getting a little help from other Colorado owners.

I use USAA to go through but Progressive is the actual carrier. I think if you qualify for USAA your better off going through them than going direct to Progressive.

Don't forget to get Coach Net or Good Sam for road service before you pick up your coach. You don't need the high dollar plan. Just the basic one of either plan is best. I prefer Coach Net and I am going to guess more than 50% of us use them. Registration and storage your pretty much on your own on that.

Welcome! This is a great group.

Spend lots of time with Ernie, he knows a lot. Take lots of pictures or video. These are complex machines, lots of small details. It will take a few months to get up to speed on everything. Have fun!

I bought from Dallas area as well. Texas was very easy to work with. Enter some data online, print a temp. one way registration for cheap, and drive home.

Congratulations on the purchase.

Longmont...Really???

It is a small world after all.

Did you buy Ernie's coach?

Maybe we'll meet sometime and swap stories.

Welcome to the world of Blue Birds , if they were, you're lives will never be boring again. I also have Progressive, but liability only and its very reasonable.
