Default New Steering Column Cover

Kathy and I have been working on a total renovation of the interior of our coach. Last January Paul Brown helped us tear out the old bedroom suit and put a new one back in. After this project we took a small rest before my hip surgery and then after a short recovery we got started on installing new flooring, wood trim, kitchen table and installing Roppe rubber flooring in the drivers area. I have always thought the steering column cover that I had in the coach was very shoddy so I decided to fabricate a new one out of 18 gauge metal. I have attached pictures of the original one and also some of the creation of the new one. As you can see it is very tight to the steering column and gives me good clearance for the brake peddle.

We are both looking forward to going to WOG for some R&R after this busy year.

Thanks Paul, as you know it has been a long process and the heat lately has made it even more fun. Your's is almost done, the least I could do for your master carpentry work.

Wayne, that is a great looking mod. I know you feet are much more comfortable on the break pad because of it. I wish we were coming down to WOG and getting to see you and Kathy along with your new renovations. I know you have been working pretty hard on it. Evidently, your hip surgery went well and you re-cooperated well also. Good news. Maybe next year you can make it up to the Shipshewana Rally. We'd love to see you up here.

Hello Dick, stainless would be very nice, I was afraid you would want a murial of horses on it.

Safe travels
