Default Looking for a Microphor Toilet

I have been thinking about installing a Microphor toilet in my coach.

If anyone has a white or off white colored toilet, PREFERABLY NICE AND CLEAN that you want to get rid of for a good price, please let me know.

Shipping is probably going to be a challenge, but let's see what we can figure out!

why would you do that?
I have never liked the complications that a microphor brings with it.
But,if you do indeed want one,i have an air flush one for sale!

My coach currently has a Sealand Traveler installed, and I don't really like the foot-flush manual operation. It doesn't look to be original to the coach, so I assumed it was a replacement at some point in the past.

What would you say are the most common drawbacks to the Microphor? I have read about some issues on the forum, but it's hard to tell what are one off issues, and what are commonly found problems.

If the price was right, I might be interested in the air operated...

Robert,
The Microphor toilets are great, as far as I'm concerned. But they do need yearly maintenance. The valves need lubing, just like everything else. Once this is done, you will find they're fairly trouble free. The system does need to be watched for air leaks, but this isn't bad either. Once I got mine squared away, it's been working quite well. Microphor is fairly easy to deal with, as well.

i had terrible luck with NEW air flush microphor toilet,It gave me more headaches than a box of ernies wine!.
I replaced that air toilet with a standard foot flush toilet and i hope I never have to have an air flush again.
Add the aux compressor in and you have double trouble,IMO.

The electric toilet may be better,But thats the only thing on my 95WB that I had to work on.

Rant over!
It just amazes me that i needed a $700 toilet in my bus, when my grand parents still used an outhouse..

Now,on that air flush toilet,I will give it to you,if you can figure out how to get it to your house!

As Randy said "The electric toilet may be better". That has been my experience. In the five years I have been fulltiming my electric has needed only one repair that occurred in the first year. The part came fast and the installation instructions were well done. I like my Microphor but would probably be just as happy with a manual toilet provided the toilet was porcelain. I never want another plastic toilet again.

Rob, Thanks for the reply.

I'll be honest. There's nothing really wrong with my current toilet. It's porcelain and it does what it's supposed to do. I just prefer the more 'high tech' solution to the waste management problem!

Randy, I'll send you a PM so we can figure something out. I'd like to take you up on your offer!
