Default propane leak

We took our coach in for new brakes on the rear and when I pulled in to the home i smeled propane. When i went to check the tank the gauge that indicated the level of propane was leaking. I managed to tighten the screws and get it to stop by I was woundering if I should immediately seek a new seal Or do you think it would be OK till the fuel is exhausted.
we are leaving next tues for the gulf coast and I'm in a time crunch.

thanks in afvence

Ron, If you checked with soap bubbles and have zero leaks, you should be good for another 30 years. While there, with the soap mixture check all the LPG fittings in that bay for leaks.

Cool

If you do have leaks Teflon paste you can buy at Lowes is great. Loctite also makes PST. You can find it at most auto parts stores. Both are equally good and have saved me many many times.
