Default M-380 new Dometic ACs and thermostat installed

I just had 2 new Dometic Brisk 2 ac units installed with a Dometic digital thermostaton 4/29/2020 by dealer installer here in FL. I have a couple problems with the whole system he installed.
(1) we found a bad wire between ac units, so I ran a new cable, along the ductwork and plugged both ends in ACs work great. But I have no Hurricane heat, the switch under counter at drawer says Thermostats Off. I had the heater working fine before ac replacement and also from bath old style thermostat over sink ran rear.
(2) this 30 year tech/dealer, wants to cut wires coming out od heater control, fish them up to livingroom and mount a second thermostat to control the Hurricane heater, I think he's not a good tech, and dont want him to butcher the harness and add another thermostat. I cant get Dometic to answer phone with Covid, and I paid this 1st Choice Mobil RV Service $2838.10 already to "try things" on my coach. Any ideas why everything wont comunicate? I saw a white and blue wire at rear AC unit that came from ceiling and were left out and not connectedby the "tech"?
lost and cost adding up.

Oh, I forgot to add, when the thermostat is set on FURN, and temp is set higher than ambiant temp, the AC fan blows. Not the fan at the floor for the Hurricane heater, and heater doent start. thanks, Jon

I wished I could help you, but this is a good reason to never use an RV tech or Camping World. They don't have a clue on how Wanderlodges are put together. The only person that I would trust besides people like George Morris or other former Bird installers is Leon up in Shipshewana. This little Amish kid is amazing. He figured out all of the intricacies of Birds after only seeing one or two of them. He has done dozens of them now and not one owner has been sorry. It is worth the trip up. I know guys that have come up, had 3 ACs replaced and new T-stats and paid a grand less than you are into your current situation. A $1000 will buy a lot of fuel.

I agree Jim, that’s the main reason we are going up and having three new air conditioners put I by Leon. It is worth the trip to have them done right and not have to worry about messing up the wiring. I think wiring problems are the most completed to fix.

I would stop all work until I talked with Leon or Dometic. I thought there was a circuit board change required on the new Dometic A/C units in order to run the Aqua Hot.

That ring a bell with anyone?

I honestly don't know about that Brad but I do know Leon ended up putting some kind of "board" on each of my AC units to accommodate the new T-stats he put on. It was a simple work around for him. For the life of me I can't figure out how an Amish guy, that does not have electricity in his house can understand and figure out all of this stuff on the various different brands of coaches and RVs. Not to mention he is one of the most honest guys I have ever run across. I took my bus up to him and wanted 3 new ACs installed and would have paid the $1600-$1700 bucks. When I left I ended up with a new T-stat and $137 bill and three ACs that worked great. Tell me you would get that same deal at Camping World or some place else.
