Default Jake Brake

With the radiator removed it is much easier to install the jake brake on that side. In going through the Jake installation manual that Curt uploaded
a couple of years ago I have some questions.

!. Why does this manual have me removing all the fuel injectors and putting new filters in them.

2. Why does this manual have me replacing all the fuel tubes and replacing
them with new tubes w/Orings ( the current ones have compression
fittings). Is there a clearence problem?

the Jake fuel tubes are taller, and they are known to split and pump your engine full of fuel.
My big green forklift did that just last fall,we had to replace a fuel tube because one split.

I have no idea why you need to removed the injectors.

Randy is correct,as usual, clearance issues.
Pulling injectors is not required but recommended, you'll be in there so---
I sent mine out for rebuild because they came out of a seriously overheated engine.
