Thanks so much for the information, Andy. Well I'm on the road again and the Jake brakes are working!! Praise the Lord!! It had to be the battery cables. For the past year I've been struggling with them and finally replaced all the ends and put on new wires as well. Sooooo worth it.

Sandy, for what it is worth, there is a ground in your front panel that should be checked. Mine give me problems for years, until it finally got loose enough to find. Weird little things like the volt gages going down to 10v, then back up in a few seconds. Alarm screaming for no reason etc. Screw on the right end goes into viable plate then into sq tubing behind. I added an extra ground cable, (black in second picture) after tightening the original.
If you have this front panel 91 to 97 I think, anyway worth checking.
