Default What is this?

I have been hearing a 60 cycle hum from under the sink in the kitchen. Today tracked it down to this. Looks like some sort of relay. Hum is pretty loud. Any idea what it is for?

Thanks in advance!

I'm wondering if it is wiring and relays for the Rediline generator?

It is a relay, I think it is called a latching relay.
HMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm when on AC power.
it could be a good or going to be a defective relay.
When on battery power and inverter it connects the inverter into the circuit., Keeps the inverter out of the circuit when on Pedestal AC power.
Sometimes they Hmmmm & sometimes no Hmmmmmmm

It's part of the Redline inverter.
My Redline was gone, so I removed it.
No problems with it out of the system.
