Default Hello everyone new member from Washington state

Hello my name is lyman but I go by jeepoholic on line, I’m hoping to be a new owner of a bluebird by the end of feb, I would like to give a shout out to randy at buybuybluebird for being patient with helping me, I currently have a 42 foot fifth wheel toy hauler that I pull with a freightliner medium duty truck, I’m working on some of my bucket list and owning a bluebird is a box I would like to get checked, I have stage 4 colon cancer with no cure, ands going to be terminal in the end, the truck and trailer is to much for my wife to handle by herself, so before I pass I need to get her into something she can handle and drive . I believe I have enough time left to get her so road time behind the wheel and hooking up, and unhooking, some other boxes that need to get checked are buying a Harley-Davidson and go to The motorcycle rally in Sturgis South Dakota this April, two more boxes to get checked off by August, now I just need to get my money released to me from a company that handles it for me , well that’s all I can think of for now, but I have a lot of questions to ask

Lyman
Welcome.
I have a very good friend that lives in Moses Lake, he is a test pilot there. I have been there a few times, both in the Bird, and on my motorcycle.
Good luck with your search, wish you the best.

Welcome Lyman,
You can ask all the questions here or start new threads for each topic, or tag onto already existing threads that you search & find.

Greetings Lyman. I wish you the best and hope you get your 'bucket wishes' taken care of in time. I can't say I can do much to help, but feel free to reach out to me or the rest of the WOG (I feel safe saying that). Wish I had a spare coach. Randy is the kingpin and if anybody can get you and your wife in a Bird, I am sure he can. Take care!

Welcome to the group Lyman. Your bucket list bird is out there - keep your eyes peeled and Randy and the WOG for guidance.

Welcome Lyman. Prayers for your battle. Cancer shows no mercy. Lost my mother to lung cancer. Two things I'm sure of. (1) You wont regret buying a Bird. There is a wealth of knowledgeable folks here to help you so don't be afraid to ask questions. (2) You wont regret going to Sturgis. We have been a few times. Riding the Black Hills is a must as are the sights to see in Sturgis. taking the Bird there would the icing on the cake. Finding a spot to stay in it may be a bit tricky. wishing you the best my friend.
