Hi Everyone! This is Leah and this is my first post! Ed and I attended the rally in Pine Mountain to learn about Blue Birds and to see if a Bird would work for us. Yesterday, we brought home our 1995 BMC37. Oddly enough, the name is Song Bird, just like Kalley's!! We will have to meet! I am not crafty, but every once in awhile, I attempt to crochet something. Ask Ed to show you his winter hat sometime!! I love the outdoors, camping, getting away from responsibilities. I enjoy kayaking and hiking. I love learning about birds and wildflowers. Ed and I are working in 2016, then looking towards full timing in 2017. I am already enjoying being a part of such a wonderful group of people!

Leah, welcome aboard! Be prepared to learn more than you ever wanted to know about 'birds'. Don't be afraid to ask questions and try not to get overwhelmed. Lots of gals drive these beasts and many do some of their own work!

Leah,
Welcome to the group. We bought our Bird in 6/2014 and have pretty much lived full time in it. Or bird is name the BeachNest. Our website is currently under construction. We had a website previous but wanted a different look. We bought our 2000LX40 to stay in while we rehabbed our daughter.
We fell in love with the Wanderlodge when we saw one back in early 2003 and set out to own one in our lifetime. We were blessed to find ours in 2014.
We have stayed full time to be able to be flexible for our daughters rehabilitation and care.
Welcome to the group. When you start traveling make sure to look at the Bluebird map so you can see where other Bluebird owners are at.

Thank you all so much for your greetings! I am determined to drive this coach. And yes, I am already learning so much about these "birds" and I suspect will keep learning over the years to come. Thankfully, Ed and I love to learn new things!!
By the way, what should I use to clean the leather inside the coach?

Leah,
I used a product called Charlie's soap multipurpose cleaner then conditioned with a good quality leather conditioner. I get mine at a tack shop. Have not tried any of the ones at the automotive stores but I'm sure they have a good one also.
