Caterpillar 3208 Solutions This sub-forum is hosted by Mike Hohnstein who has been at this kind of thing for 50+ years now, guess I'm addicted. The saga has been all about progressively larger shop space since then. Honestly, never wanted to get into the CAT 3208's that were originally considered to be a throwaway engine but that's all that works in a FC in my world. Same thing with my Ford toter, that came with a NA, too much effort to hang in a 6, so been at it with the CAT V-8 for 20 years now. In reality you can get excellent life out of a CAT 3208 if it's built correctly. Post your questions about the CAT 3208 engines here and Mike will try to help you out.

This comment is somewhat related. Because here on WOG, it is requested that we add our coach information, model and year at least, it makes it easier for both the original poster, with the problem and the potential poster with a potential cure. The OP can look at the signature of the poster with a solution and realize this person has an 85 FC and although well intentioned, it may not pertain to his problem on his 2003LXI. It doesn't stop all the confusion but it will sort out most of the wheat from the chaff.

On FB it is a circus. Many don't give enough details about their coach when asking a question and those that post solutions show no information about what they own, leaving the guy in trouble, trying to decide if they know what they are talking about. In stressful situations, that can create havoc. Not only that but the format on FB really sucks. It is really hard to keep track of a long string of info along with where it comes from. Or that just may be my problem, because I hardly ever get on there. I don't know.

Regardless, in any situation, of someone needing help, it is advantageous for all involved to display their coach information, with each comment they have made. This helps the poor stranded guy, on the side of the road, focused as to the basic knowledge and skill set of the person telling him, what or what not to do, might be. NOTE: I said "might be" because just because I show my '00 LX in my signature does not make me anything close to an expert. I'm not much of an expert on anything Wanderlodge related. On the other hand John Wyatt who has a '91 WB, and many others, should be listened to long before me. That is anther part of WOG that separates it from FB. The "E.F. Huttons" of this forum are well known to all and "people listen". Or they should!

And some of the guys there are the same that are posting here - except the notifications tell me immediately when they post there. I have to let my email load to get the notifications here.

Same people, different methods of communication. To get upset with the others is to get upset with most of the people here. We aren’t dating, everyone here can see other people, too.

But I love you guys the most (don’t tell anyone, though!)

I am appreciative of the help here, and I firmly believe that there are as many Wanderlodges on the road as there are because of this site. Good work.
You posted while I was typing. Good comment. I honestly don't like FB. I'm just too stuck in my ways to deal with it. I'm just glad you got your bus fixed and on the road. That's what all of here were working to do.
