Tom: interested in what the name of the Blue Bird service in Macon is. I know your bus and a wanderlodge are different animals, but always interested in good service.

Welcome to the club.

I had my bus serviced at Yancey Bus of Macon, GA- YanceyBus.com. Marcia was my service coordinator and Brian Houston is their service manager.

There were a few hiccups in getting the service done with my bus. There were a couple of power steering lines that needed to be replaced and the parts were on back order. Also, Yancey’s service department got hit by COVID so they were a bit short handed. Throw in the recent holidays and I understand why they could not get everything wrapped up on my bus before I got there.

The Yancey Bus Service Center is a beautiful, new facility with easy access off of I-75 in Macon. They work on CAT equipment and also Blue Bird buses. They had several Blue Bird buses there for service. I would use them again and also recommend them to other Blue Bird owners.

I love watching a passenger bus conversion far more than I enjoy watching a Wanderlodge turned into a schoolie. (I'll never understand that)

So I am excited for you and await some pictures once you get started.
We all love good stories. Safe travels.
