Nothing that can't be figured out, though, but an option. The retrofits look to cost about as much as a new RV fridge, but probably less than a similar-sized residential unit. And I guess in a FC, one will probably never have enough battery capacity w/o a significant upgrade to the battery pack.
Gene,if thats all you have to worry about, you don't have any worries at all!

We’ve been very satisfied with our residential fridge during the last four years. I tried several models before settling on the Haier. Just remove the fridge doors and it fits through the coach entry easily. I did this solo.

Our factory battery bank handles the fridge, U-line, TV and lights when we overnight without power or genset. Frigidaire also had a 10 cu/ft model but the doors stuck out into a little too far for our mid bath door to completely open so we went with the Haier. I’m sure there are other manufacturers with similar sized units.

As far as keeping the doors closed, we use a thumb screw in one of the alternate orientation hinge location bolt holes between the freezer and fridge doors. Works like a champ and we’ve become so accustomed to it that I can simultaneously unlock and open the door in one fluid motion. Probably because it serves as my beer fridge at home

And, it only costs about $400 with a 3-year extended warranty. My buddy spent about $1,600 for the same sized Dometic.

This company makes a product that monitors a propane fridge and shuts it down if the coils get to hot then turns it back on when it cools down.

If you have an fc a residential fridge will go through the door. A pt would come through one of the side windows or the windshield. Our Dynasty came with a residential fridge. After 11 years it died and the new one came through an emergency exit window. It is a 20 cu. ft. Counter depth unit. Once you have one these units you eill wonder how you survived with propane.

That's only if you have an outside door. Mine does not And the refrigerator will be changed before WOG to a residential. Patticake does not think there a grocery store wherever we travel
So, if anyone wants a working Norcold refrig, they can have it free, but have to pick it up in Ponchatoula, La., or pay shipping.

My residential came right through the regular entry door. I had to remove the passenger's seat, but that was easy.

I like having propane - those furnaces are quick and high output units. I also upgraded to an IW60 on-demand water heater and I'd never go back. And I like to cook, and a 4-burner LP cooktop is pretty good if you ask me. I never quite understood the absolute fear and terror that LP induces in people. The fridge, yeah.

You can have all the beer that’s currently in the fridge. We like to keep our tequila and vodka in the freezer next to the Blue Bell.
