Default RV Detailing: A.N.S Detailing

Just going to recommend this guy and his crew for a great coach detail. He is out of Scottsdale, AZ most of the year but goes up to South Dakota for the summers (since the snowbirds leave AZ then). I was in Mesa and arranged for him to detail my coach. Vera had the normal road grime, plus the hurricane grime, plus the pollen season layer and on the way to Mesa I was leaking 10W30 from the high pressure hydraulic filter... so yeah the bus was really really dirty..

Price was $450 for the wash, buff, wax of the coach with deionized water. Polish each wheel for $25. $600 total. They were working on her for about 6 hours. IMHO it was well worth it. You can read a newspaper in the reflection now.

Bruce,
You should have come to Yuma, I use a crew, that washes and hand waxes the bus and the Jeep with deionized water also... $125.00, then on your way to Alabama, stop at M&M in Eloy for wheel polishing for $5 bucks a wheel!!!

Looking good there Bruce! I need to have our wheels professionally done. There is some good pitting on the rear wheels, I suspect they were once inside wheels that got moved to the outside. I would also be interested to try the waxing and buffing to see if it helps my poor tired paint.

If you can handle David’s intensity & bad jokes, his YouTube video is interesting. DI water works great but Water Softener helps allot with hard water. Requires some time and equipment, but HF Buffer, foam pads and CSI works wonders. Larry’s right about the prices in Yuma & Eloy. Those are popular before/after Q and another reason to come out west in Jan. DIY results can be just as good. Once supplies and equipment are purchased, are way less $$ though with tired & aching muscles.

Yeah, DIY is nice but I can't sit in the shade and drink a beer and still have the coach done in a day. I'm more than happy to pay someone to do the dirty work once a year. I'll do the smaller cleanups in between.

Also did I mention that the entire rear half of my coach and toad were covered with about a gallon of 10W30 in a thin layer then top coated with a layer of AZ dust... It was worth it.

Looks great, thanks for sharing. I'm in your camp, I normally do my own, but having a favorite beverage is also good.
