Default Rear HWH jacks

While moving my rig in my spot here at Ft. DeSoto,Fl the bus fell off the jacks forward.
I broke the left rear hose for the second time in 8 years!
When my foot is better, I'm going back in to Cummings in Tampa and have them remake it with a loop in it so I have some slack for the back two jacks in case this happens again.
Just a thought if this happens to you.

Bob,

Actually it is a %^&* poor design. The jack is designed to pivot but if it does very much it will snap the fitting at the jack or break the hose swivel. Don't feel bad, been there done that 3 times!

Atlas hydraulics on 34th street just south of Ulmerton road can do a parking lot repair. Hydraulics is what they do. They are an easy exit from I 275 north. Take I 275 north to the 118th St. No. exit then a quick left/right jog at the light to 34th street. They are on the left at 126 Ave.

I just had them do one for me on Monday!!

Add me to the list of broken fittings. However it was my fault, parked in sloped driveway leveled up on road side rear, lifted wheel in air was not enough traction on curb side to hold coach never considered that it would lift inside dual on curb side off ground,so only 1 tire was contacting ground. Scared the devil outta me[for a short time] just lucky it only broke fitting. I had thoughts of restricting jack movement to protect fitting but I think if this is done it could seriously damage jack, lesson learned watch slopes, remember 1 tire will not hold coach on slope.
