Yes I have Jim. 2 "official", several more unofficial and a Bun Burner (1500 in 36). I ride an 87 Heritage and have taken it through every state in Conus over the last 25 years. It has never been trailered except for once when my belt broke. Repowered with an ultima 113" at 125K miles. Currently repowering back to OEM 1340 at 145K miles... lesson learned. Once I shift from wannabe status, I would love to talk with you about M/C lifts.

those guys are nuts! Heard some of them turn around and come back just as fast. Kinda like forrest gump. Couldn't ever do it on my heritage, but give me a BMW tourer and I might be game. Hope I'm still riding at 80!

My buddy did it on an Ultra, this guy also holds the record with HD for most miles ridden on a Harley, over 2.5 million.
I have another friend that did the coast to coast on a BMW, a real great story for the campfire at the WOG Pine Mountain rally next year.
3 of us are planning to do the border to border Ironbutt in April, Sweetgrass MT to Yuma AZ, all 3 of us on Ultra's. I'll let you know how it goes.

It is just as easy to just go ahead and start a new thread, like this one.

Ah... it appears I have found some kindred souls. Very cool.

Border to border sounds fun. Look forward to seeing a trip report.

I'll be hiking Grand Canyon for a week in April. Wave as you go by. <G>
