Howdy, WOGF family.
I am not sure if this area is the correct place for this message. If not, will the Powers-That-Be, please move it to an appropriate area? The power supply is slowly dying on both of our Toshiba televisions. Jack has been researching replacing them. We would like to stay pretty much with the sizes of the present televisions. No 42 inch TVs for this gal. ![]() Much obliged, Jack and Liz

Hi Jack & Liz,
I am not familiar with the TV dimensions in your 1993, But, I did replace our original 15 inch TV recently, with a 19 inch. I wanted an exact size replacement, as to have access to the left and right side overhead compartments, and I wanted it permanently screwed down when installed. I searched for a long time to find a TV with speakers on the bottom rather than on the side panels. There is an album in the old Forum with a picture of the 19 inch TV . It is also a computer montor. Installed with a little modification. If this of interest to you , I can dig up the model number. http://autos.ph.groups.yahoo.com/gro...os/browse/be65 Bill 88 FC Michigan

Howdy, Bill.
Thanks for the reply. Your TV looks good. Our LR TV is 22 inches and the bed room TV is 13 inches. Good point re: speaker on the bottom of TV. Thank you, Liz

Hello Liz,
I just finished (yesterday) replacing my LR TV in my 89WB. I opted for a 22" HD LCD model made by LG which is very light weight. The width was a good fit and the height enabled me to mount a DVD player above the TV. Like many upgrades on our Birds, the installation required a little thought and engineering. Because the TV is so light, I opted to use an adjustable wall mount which I purchased at Sam's Club. I made a shelf for the DVD player which hangs from the ceiling. Topped that all that off by purchasing the Blu-ray DVD version of the "Planet Earth" Series and I'm a happy camper.

If you go to the link below the photo, it will open a Feature Of the Month that we had a few months ago. A very detailed description of what Greg O'Connor did with his TV can be found by clicking on "NEXT" at the right of each page for more information.

Liz,
I did not take any pictures during installation and have everything buttoned up now. I'm not sure what value a picture of an installed TV mounted in the center of the overhead above the dash would be to you either. If you and Jack are considering doing the project yourselves, I will be happy to share the steps and thought process I used on my project. I can do this off-line via an email if you like. Best wishes.
