Oh come on. That’s pretty funny in my book.

They would have to PAY me a whole lot more than $650 for me to tow that thing out of the yard. I’m not sure I would even set foot in it for that amount. Sinus infections from mold and Hantavirus are serious.

My first post in this thread was a Joke. Being serious now.

While in Shipshe, We spent a day doing parking lot tours of some of the factories.
I used to think that when it was time to downsize I would like a Sprinter based Class C.
After looking at the Ford 450 and Sprinter chassis side by side, it was obvious that the Ford was a much beefier chassis. The Sprinter frame looks like sheet metal!

There are literally thousands of Class C's for sale. If I didn't want to work on it, I would likely just buy new. I would buy one built by either Tiffin (Red Bay AL) or Thor (Elkhart IN) and plan to take it to the factory for warranty repairs. The choice between the two would be based on logistics. I live in FL so Tiffin for me. You can expect to get a new one for 30-32% off retail. At the big RV shows you can do even better because there is often factory money available there.

Since I sold our M380 and became immersed in the world of SOB's, especially Class C's I have come to believe the following...some of which may be true.

1. I would never consider anything owned or made by Thor. Our Coachmen 24M is a piece of poop quality wise next to a bird. Word from Thor owners is that their's is a huge pile of poop instead of only a piece.

2. The CCC of many Class C's is way too small for safety. The Tiffin Wayfarer's is less than 700#. Mine is 1564#

3. Our Sprinter gets a solid 16 mpg at 65 mph and is quiet as a cut off toe nail. The big Fords get half that and are noisy. I test drove some.

All said, the little devil will go on the market when we get home to SW Florida in mid October. I can't do anything without bumping my head or stepping on the dog. Too little for me. I still want an LXi
