Default Power Issue: Ideas?

Good morning! My family did not take a trip this year and other than occasionally starting the Bird - nothing else has been done. In 5-years of ownership I have never experienced anything like this previously.

We have a 97 BMC40; the generator runs but we have no lights, gen slide switch has no power, AC systems do not power up. Dead. House batteries show full power. We are supposed to head out in a couple weeks and need this resolved. No known fuses show to be popped. Ideas? Thank you in advance...

PS: The inverter is showing full power on positive post + green function light. The microwave and fridge DO have power (though)...conundrum!

Check the 12 volt master switch by the entry door. This can sometimes get accidentally turned off and make all kinds of funny things go haywire.

And check the rotary disconnect switch in the charger compartment. They are a known failure component.

Max.

Thanks Max! Embarrassing? You bet! Stepping away from this for almost 1.5 years allowed me to look past the most basic of procedures. Having said that, I'd swap a bit of pride for fixing an issue with a flip of a switch!

Thank you for very much!

PS: My dash does not have an AT switch.

And I only knew to check that switch from “personal experience” myself.

And I got a frantic call from Paul one day describing all kinds of crazy things happening. Of course it was a head slapper for him too /)

Glad to be able to help.

Max.
