slide seals on the 450
Woody asked the other day about the slide seals on the 450.
I know its not the air seal like the LXI"s and LXs used. So it must be a bulb seal like a car door uses? or is it a wiper seal? When i had a slideout LXI i was talking about finding a seal to replace the air seal,but i sold the coach before i needed one. Does anybody have the seal info?

Randy, from what I can see on my coach the slide seal is a combination wiper and a bulb seal and it looks to be just cemented to the frame around the inside of the slide frame ( coach side, not the actual slide body

I think no mater how you do it in time they all need to be replaced . Like a wiper they dry out and crack , so why not just replace the seal . In the 6+ years I only replaced 1 and she is still holding fine . I did upgrade to a larger vacuum as advised by HWH when I was there last summer . He showed me on a demo how greater vacuum created more room for the slide to pass.

 so the 450 has a bar in the seal channel to hold this??????  and a outside flange to compact the round part?

Never got to the garage last night, sorry. And the pic was hard to get an angle onso included is a da vinci drawing. Did not bother to rotate pics 2 and 3 since they don’t show much
