Bird's Nest Available?

Is the Bird's Nest area at the factory in Perry, GA still there and is it available to use? If it is open whom should I contact and what is the cost per night? I would like to stay there in a couple of weeks if the facility is available.

I don't think it's open yet. Was still closed when I went by 3-27-10
Appears as though it has been left just as we left it after the auction.
Grass needs cutting again,there was a backhoe digging up near the old water test area at the plant. No clue.

Thanks for the information about the Bird's Nest. Is the factory being used for anything? The last time I went by there it was all closed up, but I can't remember how long ago that was. The first time I went by there after the closing I was not aware that it had closed and it gave me a really strange feeling.

Thanks for the info. I plan to go the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry and I guess I will try the camping site across the Interstate unless there is a better option.

The Ga National Fairgrounds has some full hookup and some dry campsites. Some inside normally used during horse shows-etc
some south side used during State Fair.
Why not give them a call and ask?

Come on down to Twin Oaks..a few miles south of the Fairgrounds (exit 127).
