I think the holding tanks are on the outside of the fuel tanks in the rear bath.
Ryans pic above is a rear bath, but the tank hes adding is maybe out of an LXI,it sure looks like one to me.

I am FC-ignorant, but my Google-foo is strong... And pictures make everything better. Back to my hole!

This is how we learn!
And your pics are great.
I would have backed the FC up onto some ramps and dropped the tank.
Its in the back,a good floor jack and a sheet of plywood and it would be on the ground.

That is correct about the location of the holding tanks at least on my 82FC35RB model 'Bird.

If memory serves me correctly seems I read about Chap removing the fuel tank from his FC but I think with a fork lift.

Upon further inspection of the fuel tank leak, it appears we have a hole in our tank! He released the side brace and a large flat piece of steel fell to the ground, a previous patch I am sure. Now behind the side brace, we can see a decent sized hole in the tank. It's so big he can see there is about 2 inches of fuel still in the tank! And of course one of the bolts broke off. Here come the rains......

If tank is in rear why not just dig a hole in the ground to back over?

Cause I live in sandy SW FL?
Seriously, even if I could dig a hole big enough, it would quickly fill itself with sand and if I drove that heavy bus over it, it would all surely collapse.

Guess maybe it's time to mount them drums on the roof!

That's how I fixed my boat. Tank in the hull leaked. Mounted new tank in storage compartment. Done!
