Default 1973 Wanderlodge project

1973 Wanderlodge project. This bird hasn’t been on the open road since 2013, only started and driven around the block a couple of times a year. Its not a shinny new penny, but a small amount of work would have it back on the road again. We bought this coach from a WOG member in 2011, put new tires on it, and drove it to Disney world and back without issue. If your looking for a bird you can use while you make it nice, this is your girl.

The Good:
Transplanted CAT 3208 diesel, non-turbo
Newer Generac 6.5k gas generator
New in 2011 Sumitomo front and rear tires - less than 5k miles, no cracking
Aluminum wheels
New in 2013
- laminate wood flooring
- rear bunks converted to queen
- 69 gallon water tank
- tankless water heater
- dvd / 20” tv
- front sitting area across from pull out couch
20k btu propane heater works great
Fridge works great
In floor engine coolant heaters work great

The Bad:
Brake master cylinder has a very slow leak - it sat for too long and all the fluid leaked out, which caused air to get into the lines. One could bleed all of the lines and then it would be hwy ready.
Pull out step bracket needs to be rewelded back into place.
Oil leak on vacuum pump for brakes.
Oil leak on transmission at pan.
Oil leak on transmission at linkage.

We’re asking $5000 for her, and she’ll come with new starting batteries. We’d like for her to go to someone that’ll use her and not see her sit and rot or end up being salvaged for scrap.

UPDATE: Bought 2 new starting batteries, cat will turn over but I can't get it to kick off. I'm suspecting that its got air in the lines - I've bleed the injectors with the manual hand pump, but can't seem to get it right. Also, got genset to kick off and run.

I'm moving out of state in 2 weeks - I'll accept any reasonable offer. If its not gone by the time I leave, it goes to a recycler.

Anyone want to save an old bird?

This may be the Fuel Shutoff Valve is not opening due to loose power wire or a bad ground, some models use a ground wire and some ground through the valve housing.

Bus sold! A local buyer took a chance. Thanks for everyone's help, past and present.
