Default Bay Door Nylon/Plastic Rollers and Bolts

Many of the nylon or plastic rollers that are on my M380 bay door latching mechanisms are wearing and need to be replaced. I am also missing one of the allen driven shank bolts and others are bent.

Has anyone had any luck sourcing them?

Dan Hartley and I have talked about selling replacement rollers. We need to get on that I will call him in the a.m. and get a roller to measure up and manufacture. Bolts shouldn't be a problem. We have replacement catches FWIW...

Take a look at my stores below too!

Let me know if they become available. I need at least one bolt along with a hand-full of rollers.

Ryan, did you ever make those replacement rollers and bolts?

This is so simple.

The bolt is called a "Shoulder bolt" and will be available at any quality hardware store.
The roller is available at McMaster Carr but the catch is you have to buy a bag full.
The roller needs to be modified slightly by simply drilling into one end 1/2 inch deep.

I don't remember the exact sizes of the bolt and roller but it's really a simple fix.

I know this is old..
Has anyone found a source for our bay door nylon rollers? Is Turbo Kitty making them?

I need some, too. Think I recall that somebody sourced the nylon stock and had a bunch made and helped others with the extras he had, but I can’t find the post. Hope we get a response!

Default Roller specs & parts list

Reopened the original thread on this topic -- it has the dimensional drawings for the rollers and a parts list for all the hardware in a 380 bay door. I knew it was out there somewhere -- just couldn't find it using search.
