Tim - you have some kinda of extra-aggressive SSL setting in Firefox.

Timothy - What version BB are you using? It is my understanding that the newer ones run a version of Android.

Evidently so. I will check into the settings to see what I can massage with the options menu.

Your understanding is correct. I am using a Blackberry Z10. It is newer, but may not be new enough

Default Notification Taming

For those not use to these new fangled social media tools, the sheer volume of notifications that they generate can be overwhelming. The key to quieting down all the notifications is under your profile settings.

Where is that? Top right corner Profile > Settings > Notifications & Alerts and turn everything off. As you get use to things you can go back and slowly turn things on.

Also, under Profile > Settings > Group are additional controls that you can disable for alerts.

I'll follow-up soon with a 'How-To' that illustrates this process with pictures.

Bottom-line, don't freak out because of all the new stuff coming at you. It can be controlled very easily.

Cheers

Yes Len... It is truly disappointing! I detest certain products because of their platform, maybe for crazy reasons to others. I might have to forgo the MeWe deal. WOG is actually the most I have ever indulged into non email and text online engagement. I don't consider this forum to be "full tilt boogie" social media such as other mediums; FB/Twitter/Instagram, and whatever else is out there. I never even dealt with Linked-In professionally. I may have missed some business deals, but nonetheless willing to rely on my referral base which has served, and continues to serve me well. I have gotten to verbose with my reply and I not continue. I am as much a Blackberry fan as I am a Bluebird fan.

That's funny Jim. I can "feel" your voice.
