yesterday the low side starts at 60 and dropped slowly to 15 when the clutch disengaged. Today starts at 60 and increases to 90 and holds. dash air is cool to warm. not cold.

Last time I had a van with a York I pulled it and put in a Sandon. Some say you have to go a fixed orifice vs a thermostatic expansion valve but they will both work with a rotatory compressor. My van was fine for years then I sold it. Lots quieter and less of a parasitic HP draw. Juts have to have the high pressure cutout switch in there. Take a little fab for the mounting base.
