That route is a pretty drive as well as not having to go thru Knoxville! We use it all the time now! Thanks for sharing!

I've got to take that route the next time I go that way. I've been saying I was going to for years, but for some reason I always end up getting sidetracked or daydream and drive right by the turn off. John has told me about it a couple of times and it's about time I follow his advise.

Quite frankly, I think we may have been in or just out of a loooong backup because of a one lane bridge and the navigator may not have been paying attention or we were trying to keep Rick Davis' pit option open until the very last minute or we just wanted to see how fast we could cruise over Jelico pass or we assumed road angels were easier to get on an interstate. In any event we forgot to turn and went up 75.

I've been your way Finn and I like it to.

Glad everything worked out and you had a safe (and uneventful) trip back home. I hope your next trip to the Carolinas is a little less expensive ;-)

We had a map of Ky. & NC. But no Tenn. map. 25, 25E, & 25 W. was a little confusing.
The new smart phone was not acting very smart, still miss my Flip phone.
The 3208 had no trouble climbing

David,
Congrats on getting the coach and its running great for you...
I would have definitely went the way you did with one of Mike H's motors...
Now you have to wash and wax your baby...

Ok John,
What is your route over to I-75, from I-81, as I always go this route to go home, I have been on the longest parking lot on the east coast too many times, so that is not an option anymore!!!
TIA

From the I-40 / I-81 interchange go North on I-81 to Exit #8 / US-25E to Morristown, TN continue West on US-25E to Corbin, KY where you will pick up I-75.
