Nope, that was the first place I looked. Not a problem, I get all the information one way or another.
Cox and my computer do strange things sometimes.

Default Things to do at Q

THE HORN!!

I'll bring my rom copier/burner to Q. I would like to get more copies of the ROMs from the horns, if we get enough we might be able to figure out how songs are stored and be able to change them.

In the mean time, if you really like someones elses songs and can talk them into letting me copy them its pretty easy to copy roms... I have a dozen or so blank roms to copy to.

Any that I copy I will post on the forum with the song list so if you see some song(s) you just cant live without I can send you a chip!

DDEC reader!

I'll also bring my prolink ddec tool. I can read faults and clear them....

I also have a Allison trans tool and can read faults for the trans.

Might be able to reprogram them too... BUT Ive not done that!

/Joe

Default Quartzsite 2017

Curt, is there a place in any of the Q17 material that someone can summon assistance on fixing or requesting assistance on fixing something while they are at the Q? For example I could use some help changing out the washer/dryer in our BB.

On our way down we dodged a bullet when we found that the hot water fill valve failed open. Luckily we were in the BB and noticed water was backing up in the shower and were able to shut the water off before it overflowed.

Gerry, Remind me when you get to Q and I will put a note on one of our daily boards that you need some help. There are always some of the guys looking for a Q project.... some beer, margaritas and any kind of food might work as bait to get help, but then the helpers might be a little hard to control so you will have to work fast!

Thanks Rick I'll remember that advice. There is a real message to what happened with this valve failing in the open position and how easily it is to innocently walk away from the coach and coming back to water running out the door.

Default White message board

Thanks to Rick, we have a menu of the daily happenings on the white message board on a daily basis while we are at Quartzsite.
Make it a point to stop and check it out each morning.

Hey Fred!! Good to see you on the board. I am looking forward to "Q" and my "Q" friends.

Just about finished with my yearly maintenance on the BMC. Now the toad needs a little TLC.

Hi Rick!!
Yep. Gerry, my experience at "Q" is if you come out of the bus in work clothes and roll out the tools you will generate more help and observers than you may want in minutes. In addition you could stroll out to the morning "guy meeting" at the campfire and ask for some help. Plenty of good help at "Q"!
