The rim on my coach is a 7.5. Last year I bought 2 8.25's from Randy so I could put H's on the front, still 11R's, why spend the cash for the 12's?

You would typically only see 7.5" rims used with 10 R22.5's which would be way too light for a Bird.
Hope this clears it up

Actually all up until the late model FC's came with 7.5's as well as early PT's. The FC's came with 11R's on 7.5's. I run G's on the rear and H's on the front, all on 7.5's. This is acceptable according to Michelin and some other manufacturers guides.

Hope this helps......

Although the 7.5 is acceptable with H tires, you did the best thing here. If I'm not wrong you can carry a higher pressure with the 8.25 if needed......

I run Hs all around on 7.5s no problems at all. Steers set at 115lbs and they stay right there.

2 observations... Why push around more tire then you really need? It will just lower fuel economy (I know, what fuel economy!) No reason to mix up 11 and 12R's either. When I replaced all of the tires on the PT, I went back to 11R's from the 12R's that were on it because... it originally came with 11R's. Now I have all of the same size tires on both coach's as well for just in case

That makes good sense for efficiency sake Ryan. Let's see now if you could get the right hoist set up you only really need to own 8 tires!
