My guess the reason they do that is that is how they know how much to charge you for your plate. After you get the registration I can't imagine it ever being looked at again. There are other options but I won't discuss them here.

I'm at the track quite often. I have seen some of the puniest diesel pushers towing all sizes of stacker trailers. I have a friend who pulls a 36 ft car trailer loaded down with tools, compressor, generator, golf cart and his dragster with a 36 ft gas coach.
I think the Bluebird is more than capable
