Default Don Carter State Park

Day 3, but had to drive in to work today. Very nice state park. The sites are not as close to the water as a COE park would be. Facilities are nice, hiking trails (some paved). Not every site would be good for a bus but a lot of them are. If booking a site look at the pics as some fire pits back up to stack stone walls or dropoff as well. We are in site 28 which is perfect for a bus. Love Watson's Mill and Victoria Bryant. Had a travel trailer back then but saw many large Class A's at WM. The road is not as narrow as it looks especially if there are leaves on the road when you come in. The end of the loop is a little tight if the farthest campsite has extra cars parked in the turn. Most GA State Parks allow site-specific reservations now so you can make sure you get a good spot.

Have fun with the project.
I would love to see a picture of that unit in your dash.

My unit is also similar, but with a much smaller 7" screen.

Last weekend, I refinished the roof, and our roof plating. This week I resealed the screw holes with strips of expansion joint material which were placed before the original rubber strips which were still in good condition after my wife cleaned them up. I then removed all three original Fridgeking roof top ac units, and replaced them with low profile Mach 8 15 K units. still have to trim out two of them which I will do this weekend.

Have you run the Mach 8s yet, can you report on the sound and preformance, low and high and inbetween cool ?

What did you do to refinish the roof panels, is it the steel plate ?

The plating is the ribbed steel. I thoroughly cleaned with a de-greaser, lightly sanded and painted them, they look nice.

I only have 1 Mach 8 trimmed out inside, but I believe that it is quieter than the old original units. I so wanted to keep the original ac units, but they gave up the ghost one by one, 40 years old so the way it goes. I only ran to test that it got cooled, but will update when I complete the other units and fully test them.

Today we fought 50 mph headwinds pulling our "Q" Casino (24 ft-10,000 lbs.)245 miles north from Lake Havasu City Arizona to Amargosa Valley. We are hoping tomorrow might be a little better.

Last few days getting ready for Samsung rf18 fridge being delivered by Lowe's today. The trusty old Dometic has been failing so we decided to follow our friends lead and go the residential route. Pics to follow.
