Default Florida Beacfront RV Parks

We'll be taking our first real trip in our Bird on February 28th. Taking our Grandkids to Disney for a few days then looking for a place near the beach for part of the trip. Any suggestions on a family/pet friendly beachfront resort or campground we could visit without going too far south? We've been to the Keys a few times and love it but won't have the time this trip.
Thanks

Dana, my family for over 40 years have gone to Bryn Mawr in St Augustine. Lots to do and see with a family. I would just try and get beachfront. I make my July reservations every year as I am pulling out for the following year. Good luck

Thanks Bruce. I'll be giving them a call. Looks like they may have park models available also for additional sleeping space.

Dana- there's a nice, but not fancy, campground called "Jetty Park" in Titusville. You are parked across the dune from the ocean and near the loading area for lots of cruise ships. We stayed there in the bird back in 2010 and watched a NASA launch from the beach.

Not beach front but in Mims, near Titusville, Willow Lakes RV park is a 5-star resort with a 9-hole golf course. We lived there for about 6 months while I worked at NASA. Close to Orlando, and NASA plus the owner is really nice (Rick if he is still there).

I talked to these folks at the RV show this weekend. Seems they have done a bunch of work lately with a new RV setup, and the pixs looked really nice. 50 amp, cable, wifi. Not on the ocean but the swannee river in north FL.

Great sites on the beach, but no RVs with pets are allowed because of state restrictions!! ****** or so the state believes!!
