Default Pen Fed Card

This may be a good thing to have along with the Pen Fed card in case you have to pay cash. If you can get the lowest price with a credit card (like at lots of smaller fuel stations off the interstate or occasionally WalMart) the Pen Fed Visa card giving you 5% off (now about $0.15-0.17/gal) is clearly better. Still, there are times when you buy off the interestate and cash with a 10 cent discount is the best alternative.

I will say however, that since we got the Pen Fed card, we rarely stop at those interstate truck stops because they are usually a lot higher that many of the local places on the side roads. Flying J used to be good before Pilot bought them, but now they are up there with the rest.

Jon and Tom over at Prevost Community are getting slammed with all your requests, and they working hard to keep up with your registrations and vin numbers, so please be patient. They will get back to you as soon as they can. The response to this program is awesome.

Thanks Jon, got the password and filled out the app. We're leaving in the morning and Fedex doesn't get around to our area until the afternoon, so this trip we'll just have to shop around. I'll have it for out next outing.

We'll do our very best to keep up folks and I think it's great that PC & WOG can work together for our mutual interests in saving fuel money.

I visit this site often and have helped many of you with batteries, so I kind of wear two hats from day to day. Jon and I look forward to participating on your forum and who knows, we might even strike up a mini rally somewhere down the road for Birds and Prevosts.

Enjoy the fuel program and if you have any difficulties don't hesitate to contact us.

Default Discount Program Restriction

We are obviously still learning as our program develops and this morning a new restriction to the program was learned. I quote Alicia:

"Due to Federal Regulations we are not able to process ACH Debits from Canadian Bank Accounts. We are sorry for any inconvenience. This does not affect the members that live in Canada and have a US Bank Account, we are able to process bank accounts in that situation. "

I hope all our Canadian neighbors can work around this restriction.

Jon

Thanks Jon, that is good to know and thank you..
FWIW, even though I live in Canada I maintain an account at a bank in the US, and my understanding is that anyone can do it.
Interesting to note is that unlike Canadian banks, our bank in the US charges no fees, that is not something that the "Big 5" would ever consider here
