Default Two Stroke Shop

We were in the St Andrews community of Panama City, FL yesterday and happened on a Detroit Allison shop. There was an Eagle and a nice older Newell in the yard so I stopped in. When I asked about two strokes the counter man said they wrench on two strokes every day and have a large parts inventory for them. They were working on an 8v92 that day. Lots of commercial boat operators making a living with two strokes there. They work on coaches and have had Wanderlodges in. Long story short, they work on 92 series engines and they like them. No experience with Florida Detroit Diesel Allison in Panama City, but nice to know they are there.

Yeah, there's a few of us who putter with obsolete engines. Got a couple mini bits and pieces for 3208 fuel injector from the Cat house, made in Brazil.
Heard it said lots of old school engines still busy in the Gulf.
