Don't forget-- even though BB forgot to have a file in the bluebox stating that you are bigger then them, you are- so just proceed with that knowledge

I always like to refer to driving the coach as I have the weight of way. Not that I like to push things on the road, but some people just do not think about the physics of a 30,000 lb vehicle stopping. That being said, they usually take note of an air horn!

Indeed, when a Hummer would cut me off, I'd laugh maniacally and holler 'go ahead, make my day!' -- my wife seemed to get a little concerned then... but I explained to her -- I used to work for a railroad. In crossing accidents, short of a gasoline truck, it was always Train 1, other vehicle 0. My employer, tired of the idiots who would pass lowered crossing arms, etc. had a policy of suing the estate of the automobile driver who'd pulled into a train's path. (It would sometimes damage the hoses and bend the 'cow catcher' a little bit.)

I managed to never hit any idiots with my coach -- but not because of "good driving" by the general public. I came to understand that there were various road situations that would generate near certain suicidal idiocy -- such as approaching an exit in heavy traffic -- there are always a few who just can't stand waiting another 15 seconds behind "the bus" before they get off the highway... so they'll go around and cut me off in front to make the exit.

I called ahead of him and told the Border folks to be on the look out for a BMC possibly containing Blue Bird Paraphernalia or other! Could be awhile

Way to go Stephen.
Hope to see your coach in the spring when we come through.

I guess coming through the border was easy.

Glad to hear that you had a successful trip. I really like the BMC, love the looks of the bus. Happy trails.
