Do you know the reason behind that Randy? My buddies and mine are both 84's and he has steel goat rails and I have aluminum.. was curious if they changed over or was it done by request of the new owner or and upgrade for aluminum for weight savings.. funny to think.. like the titanic loosing a deck chair..

My 84 had aluminum goat rails.
Somebody told me way back that some of the early coachs got alum because the steel was rusting,when they came back for rust issues they got replaced with alum.
Thats all i know.
But,i think all of the WBs and newer got alum.
