The SOB guys are always looking at us and thinking something!
I was in a group of 4 birds up in Canada and we were parked together along the front row of an RV park.
As a couple of other campers walked by we heard them say "millionaire row' and pointed to our birds
Any of which could have been bought for around 80 grand each.
I looked to see what rig they were driving and they were in truck campers.
New ford dually, crewcab,King ranch diesels, with a huge 2-3 slideout truck camper.
Towing one of those big 4 door jeeps.all very new.

Ford truck,loaded,$90,000
Jeep,loaded,$60,000
Truck camper,loaded? $50 grand?
$200,000 worth of truck and toys, and we were the rich guys!

You figure they had $200,000 owner equity in their stuff? Probably a negative number.

I get it Randy and we will have to get used to that. We are far from millionaires. We had one person at a campground stop and ask if they could see our Bird, they pulled into the campground behind us..
They ooo'd and aaah'd about the Bird. I think they would have been surprised what we paid.

We got...."your Alpine is a good looking coach".......but it seems the Bird will no doubt attract more attention. We don't mind showing our coaches, and will be good ambassadors for the brand.
I also hope we have enough $$ to keep her running since we are not $$$aires.

Blue Birds are no doubt a great value.

You must be able to go 2000 miles on a tank. Our 200 gallon tank is big cause we drink fuel like water. Our lifetime mileage did go up from 5.11 with 92K miles on it to 5.19 in the 1700 miles to our home in Indy. On the bright side....we are getting better than 5.11

I think I told you all I used to be stationed in Clearwater. I go to (what I think was Parliament) and ooo'd and aaah'd at the wanderlodges and the Prevosts. Back then the Birds were the better part of a million. So happy to have mine. Got it for a bargain, one tenth the price. Now just the mods, upkeep and the fuel!

I have been reading through this subject, safety, steel, etc., etc., and the only reason we bought ours was THE COLOR!!! When Patticake saw it, that was it
