Hi there, thank you for taking the time to look at this amazing coach. We purchased this coach in July of 2016 since then we have been traveling the US full time in it. This has been an awesome experience, but we are looking to get back into a home and settle down again. We have every bit of paperwork going back to the original bill of sale from 1986, we even have the original blueprints for this coach. It is mechanically sound rebuilt 8V92 silver series 475 HP 1300 ft lbs torque. 300 gallon fuel tank(diesel), 116 gallon fresh water tank, 100 gallons black tank, 100 gallon grey tank, 40 gallon propane tank. Air brakes, air ride suspension, transmission break, 4 speed Allison automatic transmission, rides and drives like a gem, around 42,000 lbs you will not be blown around the highway by other 18 Wheeler's. These coaches are built like tanks, no fiberglass or plastics. Odometer shows 61690 (my guess is 161690 miles) Since the overhaul on the engine there is about 15,000 miles. 12.5 KW Kohler Diesel Generator/ 50AMP and (2) 30AMP shore power hookup. 8500 miles since last PM. The Good: Engine rebuilt by Detroit Diesel 2014 Brakes replaced July 2016 Tires 2016 roughly 10,000 miles on them now LED interior lights 2014 Speakers 2014 Water Heater 2016 Fridge 2014 Samsung Smart TV Trac Vision RV 1 in motion satellite Driver and passenger seats Shocks Air bags Inverter Battery charger/tender Convection oven 3 roof mounted AC units Memory foam queen mattress Bedroom Vent changed in 2016 LED tail lights HID headlights Exhaust system replaced 2014 Diamond plate roof rack with 2 storage pods I am sure I am missing some stuff The Bad: Front leveling Jacks leaks, but stay up when driving Batteries need to be replaced Front sofa pleather material is cracking Stereo/GPS stopped working in September Black Tank plunger valve needs to be replaced Fuel Tank drain valve small leak(easy fix) Electric heater in Kitchen does not work Lower dash back lighting not working Right front inside blind broke (does not stay up) Engine oil temp gauge needs to be replaced Tachometer sticks once in awhile Kitchen window awning needs new roller spring (still opens) Dash AC does not work (had Detroit Diesel look at it, hoses leak) I have done my best to list the bad as honestly as possible. Asking price is $31,000 but we will take off $10,000 if you have a vehicle to add to the offer. (Vehicle must be worth equal to $10,000)

Hello,
I am interested in this Bird. I was wondering if anyone knows anything more about it? All input is greatly appreciated. Spotted it earlier this week in CL, but happy to now see it on the WOG. Kevin Coons Chattanooga, TN

I saw it on CL as well. It is all over the Southwest. We will be in AZ soon but I don't think I will bother with this one. Smells like a fixer upper.

All of them need something. Most of the "bad" list is minor stuff in my opinion. I wouldn't call it a fixer upper just from the description.

I'm pretty sure a Phoenix area member looked at it not to long ago. I'll see if an opinion is available.

Markus: It is not the bad list that makes me wonder. Often when listings in CL are in more than one state it is either a scam or junk. Someone has spent a lot of money on something that is now for sale. I will wait for a BB person to set eyes on this coach. Not enough pictures . The kind offer to deduct $10g's if you give him a vehicle worth 10g's is sure generous.

I assure you that it is not a scam. We bought the BB while on vacation in Florida. Decided to travel the US for a bit and after a year we decided to call it quits. We live in the bus full-time and would like to move forward. For this reason, we are making it easier for someone to come purchase it. We are offering to take off 10k for a vehicle because we would be purchasing a vehicle with some of the funds from selling the BB. The BB owner prior to us did spend a lot of money on the bus, roughly $50 to 60k. We believe that because of health reasons he could not maintain this wonderful bus any longer. So when we purchased this bus we took it to Detroit to check it over and repair items that needed repairs.
It is ok if you believe it is a scam or junk, because the right person is going to see the unbelievable deal they are getting when they take a look at this coach. No it is not perfect by any means, on the other hand, it a beauty. And as with any other BB it does need work, for this reason we aim to be honest and to list all of the items in our listing. Thank you for your input, it is greatly appreciated.

Hi: Do you have the service record of the rebuild from Detroit? Which DD dealer did that job? Do you have all the other service records? Are you still in AZ? Where?
Thanks

Yes we have all of the records. The rebuild was done at Florida Detroit Diesel (Stewart & Stevenson FDDA LLC, in Orlando, FL) on 01/30/2014 costing a total of $33,245.58.
Yes, we are in Tucson, AZ and have someone coming today to take a look at the BB. The person from Phoenix who looked at this BB was looking for a BB in pristine condition. Therefore, it was not a right fit for him. If this bus was in that kind of condition we would not be selling it for 31k.
