Saw it several days ago on FB. We were all young once. All of us old guys know what's wrong with this picture, but everyone deserves to dream big.

Jim

P.S. No offense, Ashley - it's a grand adventure that will be a huge learning experience if it doesn't kill you first! It scares the **** out of me, but I've seen other people do it. You need to find a close-by Wanderlodge mentor to help guide you through everything needed before you spend big bucks on anything. Just one man's opinion.

Hey guys,i saw this on CL a few weeks back.
I would not spend a dime or waste my time on this bus.
Just giving you the facts.
This coach is a money pit,if you just wait a few months you will find a better coach to rebuild.
If you have to have it,don't put new tires on it until you make it run, drive and stop.
Putting Michelins on this bus is like putting pearls on a hog.
Just sayin.
Theres no such thing as a free pony,if you get my drift.

None of us here wants to see a bird junked or scrapped,we want to save them all.
But sometimes you have to know when to save your money and wait.
If you have to have it,i will give you 6 pretty good tires, you have to come get them.
in Bainbridge Ga.
The tires are good,a little old at 6-7 years and i can sell them to a farmer for 100 bucks each.
I would rather lose 600 bucks than see you lose 4000 bucks buying michelins.

You have been given the best advice that you can get, from the best group of Wanderlodge experts that there is. You need to find a bus that has a better starting place. They are out there. Be patient and search. It took two years for us to find our bus. This bus can easily eat $30,000 or more and hours and hours of work just to put it in reasonable shape.

Haha thanks guys. I know we've heard it all about it being a money pit but we're excited to give it a go - I'll considered us warned though! (We're getting our tires for free)

We'll probably be asking a lot more questions on here as we go...brace yourselves and thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge!
