Landing Lights (COMBINED THREADS)

My landing lights are not working. I have removed the housings and took them apart. the Front landing light bulbs won't come out of the housing. The Part #'s are the same front and rear. And the back ones fit great. I don't want to break them I broke one all ready

If it is those round lights, soak with a solvent, be patient and gentle.
use a knife to cut and scrape that white stuff away

Break the old bulbs out if you need to. The housings will come apart, soak em, drill out the bolts et.c if you need to. There are PAR36 LEDs that fit those housings, I did that and it worked great.

I figured out the housing is a 3 pice part. Soke them pound on them Just don't btkhe the housing.

I got the ball apart and have a new sealed beam bulb. Trying to find a new fat foam gasket. looks like a tractor part. Will check the local implement dealers.

I used foam weather striping tape from the hardware store.

Good idea! Been putting this little job off to long. :-)
