Default Allison transmission shop,Jax fl

I had a really nice conversation with the owner of a certified Allison shop in Jax Fl this morning.
Hes been in business for 40 years working on Allisons.
He can do anything needed on any Allison, old or new.
Including the reprogramming to 5th gear downshifts.

Progressive Power Products
4062 Liberty Street
Jax Fl
He sounds like a good honest business owner.

The owner (Larry) and i have a mutual friend,Larry called me about buying a motorhome he has worked on and the owner passed away while the coach was in the shop.
Its a gas wineybagle.
I told him it was not my thing, but if it was cheap enough i would buy it.
(Steal it).
He said he wanted to get his bill paid and give the widow the rest of the money.
I thought that was cool,he wants to do the right thing with the widow.
We talked for 30 minutes,i like the guy..

We got a big Alison shop here in Fort Myers. I intend to have the transmission serviced before we take off in the spring. I hope they are good.

I was on YouTube watching a Welder Up video. He is a custom shop in Las Vegas that makes crazy custom diesel trucks and cars. I made a commend about my Coach and my soon to be new toad, a diesel Smart. I'm getting hate mail how I am destroying the world. It's nuts.

Stick has a weird thing going on with his trans and i sent the pics over to Larry friday around 5:30 pm.
He called me this morning at 8:30am (yes,i was up).
He had looked at the pics, searched the service manuals and looked at a used trans he has in stock.
We talked it over and he wants to see the trans in person (i used to call them "Trannys")
He says he loves the odd stuff and wants to figure it out.

UPDATE!!
Stick drove his coach over to Jax and left it.
They stayed late to wait on Stick and the next days they raised the coach up and checked it out, they determined the rear seal was leaking and that the roll pin was factory.
They changed the rear seal (which had been changed before and somebody screwed it up) and checked the lines and serviced the trans and took it for a 100 mile test drive.
The new seal fixed the leak and the bill was very reasonable.
Stick had been to 2 Allison shops before we found Larrys shop in Jax.
Both shops charged him plenty to just look, and both shops wanted to rebuilt the trans for big bucks, they did no work at all.
