How do I Register as a New Member of the Forum and Log On To the Forum?

HOW TO REGISTER AS A NEW MEMBER

NOTE: When you submit your Registration, the Wanderlodge Owners Group Server should immediately send an "email verification notification" to your email address.

Before your membership can be processed, you must respond to the email verification notification!

If for some reason you don’t immediately receive an email verification notification, please Contact Us about the problem. Be sure to include all of the information that is asked for in the “Contact Us” Form.

Not responding to the "Email verification notification" is one of the most common registration problems that we encounter!!!


NOTE: We do not approve registrations that are submitted via a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Proxy Server.

You have probably been looking through the Wanderlodge Owners Group Forum as a Guest for some time and now you're interested in joining the forum as a Registered Member, so that you can post a question, or a comment. Here is an idea of what is involved in registering as a NEW MEMBER here on the forum;

A NEW PAGE WILL NOW OPEN ASKING YOU FOR YOUR DATE OF BIRTH, THIS IS REQUIRED BY LAW AND IF IT IS NOT FILLED OUT PROPERLY WILL RESULT IN YOU NOT HAVING ACCESS TO THE COMPLETE FORUM AND BEING PLACED ON MODERATED STATUS;

Later in the registration process you will be able to hide your date of Birth from all members except for the Administrators. Click on "Proceed" to open the next page.

THIS NEXT SECTION IS WHERE YOU WILL SET YOUR USER NAME, PASSWORD AND THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT YOU CHOOSE TO REGISTER WITH. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU STORE A COPY OF THIS INFORMATION EXACTLY AS YOU ENTER IT, AS THIS IS HOW YOU WILL HAVE TO LOG IN TO THE FORUM AND IT IS CASE SENSITIVE.

IF YOU FORGET YOUR PASSWORD AND THEN USE THE FORUMS SOFTWARE TO RETRIEVE YOUR PASSWORD, THIS IS THE INFORMATION THAT YOU WILL NEED TO ENTER TO DO THAT.

THE PASSWORD ONCE IT IS ENTERED BECOMES ENCRYPTED BY THE FORUMS SOFTWARE THUS MAKING IT INVISIBLE TO THE ADMINISTRATORS, SO IF YOU LOOSE IT AND CANNOT REMEMBER THE USER NAME AND REGISTERED EMAIL ADDRESS, THAT MEANS IT WILL HAVE TO BE RESET TO A NEW ONE, BY ONE OF THE ADMINISTRATORS.

WE USE AN IMAGE VERIFICATION SYSTEM TO HELP PREVENT SPAMMERS FROM REGISTERING ON THE FORUM, IT IS BACKED UP BY A PERSONAL VERIFICATION BY AN ADMINISTRATOR, BEFORE YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS FINALLY APPROVED.

NEXT YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ENTER ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THAT WILL ALSO HELP PREVENT SPAMMERS FROM ENTERING THE FORUM.

WHEN YOU ARE ALL DONE CLICK ON “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”

First I need to explain some things that are happening more and more recently. Just like most of the Internet the Wanderlodge Owners Group Forum is not immune to attempts at being accessed by spammers and hackers, despite our increasing safety measures additions to the forum at trying to prevent these attempts they are getting smarter at finding ways around the devices that we have in place, but so far we have been successful on preventing this from happening.

Now we come to something that you can do for us, if you are having problems with the forum and need help please communicate with us through the Contact Us link found at the bottom of the forum's homepage on the Internet at http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.com/forums/index.php once the Contact Us Message area opens up it will look something like this;

Please include the following information, which you should have recorded in your profile when you joined the forum, we cannot help you without it;

Your First Name;

Your Last Name;

Your Forum Username;

Your Hometown;

Your State or Province;

Your Model of Blue Bird, etc.;

***ALSO INCLUDE YOUR DATE OF BIRTH***

We use all of that information to verify that you are indeed the member requesting the information, there is no need to include your password as once you recorded your password and saved the information in your profile, the forums software encrypts the password and it is then no longer visible to us, so it is important that you save all of this information in a safe place for future reference, don't rely on your memory to recall this information.

Finally make sure that you are sending this request for help through the email address that you have listed in your profile, using another email address will throw up a big red flag to us and may even result in your membership having limited access to the forum, until we can resolve the problem, which sometimes will take a phone conversation to resolve the problem.
