The first time I went to Zip Dee was for a complete patio awning replacement. We lost ours in a windstorm. They did a great job but put painted end caps on the ends of the awning arm. I asked for the polished aluminum ones that it came with and they said all of them are painted now but he would go look. He came back a while later with two polished aluminum caps that he found in old stock. However the new awning only lasted five years before the stitching rotted away as opposed to 25 years for the first one. We bought a third awning from Zip Dee and had to install it ourselves because they no longer will do the work. The new awning has glued panels instead of stitched and has held up very well for the last few years.
