Default Picture Orientation

Greetings,
I was looking to post and add some pictures, the problem is that several of them seem to upload sideways, and I can't figure out how to change them after the upload. I tried turning them and uploading, but the results are the same. I'm sure it is something simple I am overlooking.
Thanks

Thanks Bill,
I am posting them from files on my computer. It appears that all pictures are put into a "landscape" orientation by default. If I crop a picture to a landscape type orientation, it will upload it correctly, but I have not been able to get it to upload a picture with a portrait (vertical) sizing without it turning it on its side.

That’s correct, George. Like Bill said and you have found, for some reason our system, when taken with an iPhone, only likes pics in the landscape mode, with the phone or pic turned 90 degrees CCW from vertical.

Try this: edit, rotate completely, then post. Sometimes this works for me………

A quick shortcut I use sometimes when I don't feel like messing with it and/or want to crop or frame a picture better is to just take a screen shot and post that. I have not had one yet that orients incorrectly when doing that.
