There's a few must stop places the wife and I have found in our travels. When traveling to Portland on highway 84 Cousins in The Dalles Oregon is a stop we always make. We've been known to have breakfast there on the way to Portland and dinner on the way back to Spokane in the same day. Just pull the bus up across the street.

Next is on I5 about 30 miles north of Grants Pass at the Quinnes Creek exit. It's a little place called Heaven on Earth. They have cinnamon rolls the size of a small cake and excellent apple butter made right there. There's plenty of parking for busses.

The last is the resteraunt in the back of the Trading Post in Cameron Arizona about 60 miles north of Flagstaff on highway 89. They have the best Navijo tacos on Indian fry bread. You can also buy a 5 pound sack of Blue Bird flour there if you want to make your own fry bread.

Default Creative Cafe

Well last night friends took us to the Creative Cafe here in Casa Grande. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. I wish I'd brought a camera. You would not believe the size of these meals. Several of us had to do the doggie bag routine. The specials of the day are by far the best choice for both price and quantity. We will be eating here again before we leave Casa Grande. Here's a link

Here at " Ernie's Campground, tanning beds, plumbing supplies ,and rent to own rv parts" we cook to please the most discriminating appetites. Or- whatever we fix and alcohol tastes pretty good.

Come on down and bring Hohnstein with you. He still has a dozen piles of leaves that he raked to sack up

Not much activity here so I thought I'd add something because Id be remiss if I didn't. Our family has been going to this place for 70-80 years(my father went there)…. so I'm including that time in my figure.

So if you find yourself near Providence (actually, Olneyville) R.I., you must go to the New York System Wieners.... They have a Facebook page if you need directions. The greatest "wiener" not hot dog, you will ever have.

just for kicks, in Lake Havasu, AZ on Tuesday, check out Javalina's Cantina just over the London Bridge. All Margarita's on Tuesday are half price, but try their "Tie Dye" margarita...it not only taste great but its a picture perfect drink too. Enjoy
