1989 SP36 in mid Florida,blown engine (as in a rod is stuck through the block)
Its rough,needs a good cleaning inside and the paint is peeling,tires are 15yo.
it will need to be towed away,it is a fixable coach,if you can do the engine swap yourself.
Its a complete bus,BLOWN ENGINE.

Are you talking about where I did the transmission? I wish that was my warehouse but I only have use of it for a short time. Plus I have too many projects going on, don't really need another.

I want to add to what Randy was saying here. I personally went to look at this bus on 2/26. It is definitely a keeper. It has a blown engine. Big hole in the block. So it will need a reman engine. Owner said the trans was leaking, so while the engine is out. Rebuild the trans. The inside of this coach is in decent condition. Has original parquet in the kitchen and carpet in the bedroom and salon. Take it all up and put in vinyl plank. Has a nice flat screen TV in front. Newer refrigerator. Has original Sharpe microwave convection oven. Coach has some upgraded electronics in the front cabinets. Not sure what they were. Beside new floors, the inside just needs a few improvements and cleaning up. North/south queen bed. All glass is in good shape. Needs entry door handle. Paint is like new in some areas. And needs work in others. In my opinion it does NOT need a full paint job to have a nice appearance. Just some spot and sectional attention. Will need tires all around. Generator is an 8KW seems to be in good shape. Although we did not run it. Oil was black as expected but full right to the line.
Folks...this is a keeper that we'd like to see kept alive. It would be a GREAT project for someone with a little knowledge and ambition.
The best part is it's FREE. Super nice elderly lady lost her husband last Dec. Just needs it moved off the RV lot it's been parked on for the last 5 years. Been parked on concrete NOT on dirt or grass. Even has an electric motor cycle lift on the back and a tow bar too. And the pass thru bay has a full width Joey bed.
All ya need to do it get it towed to your place and with a little work, have a super nice coach. This is NOT a junker!! Has NOT been scavenged for parts. It's ALL there just waiting to revived! If I were 10 years younger and wanted a super nice coach. I'd grab it.

Me too, and 'so far away'

FWIW Where is the CAC located and does it have the ZF trans? Any body know the HP and Torque ratings on the ZF?
