A PT with a windshield awning
Saw this one with a windshield awning. Kinda odd. Not sure if this is a second one or the same front awning bus that was posted before.

I could use all the small awnings and the front bumper. It has a Brewmatic, too! So I'm up to 2k in parts - who is in for an epic smelly road trip?

I'll take the captain's chairs, too. Is it worth the fuel to drive it home?

I take it back, that looks like it might be an opportunity for someone who wants to put some work in... But I want the parts.

I think andys right they moved it to the front. To be honest closed it almost looks like a trucker visor and open I bet it kills alot of heat.
This idea is growing on me like fungus. Dave

I am sure the wind noise will be "noticeable" above 70mph. With a gusty headwind I might have fairly high concern of recreating an odd variation of the famous hood flip up on the highway scene from Tommy Boy.

I did something similar to this last time we were off in Arizona. But went up to the roof of the bus as the cap was soaking up heat and transferring that into the bus. I used a Truck Awning - bonus it fits into a tiny bag. I have collapsible poles that I used to hold up the far end from the bus. I anchored the awning to the goat rails on top with some bungie cords so it could flex when there was wind.
