I am not sure of the timing of people's events, but Progressive discontinued writing Agreed Value policies very recently.

Progressive Agreed Value Insurance, according to their website it shows that they are still in the business of writing agreed value.

Correction: Nationwide offers two affiliates that write coverage "Victoria" & "Allied" is the other.

John
I am a Nationwide Insurance Agent here in Ohio and we provide Agreed Value policies.
Just a note; Nationwide owns Allied which is more prominent out west.
Thanks!

I had dinner with Progressive's VP of claims and his team last week. I should have asked him if he knew what was going on. Just a few weeks ago, my agent and I were on the phone with an RV underwriter who told us they discontinued AVP.

I will get to the bottom of this even if I have to call Glen Renwick, CEO.

The Blue Sky fellow in Akron, OH just informed me that his company could not write an AV policy in Texas. All other states are okay, but Texas "didn't like our form."

Guess I'll go back and talk to Progressive and Foremost.

Texas has representives, Blue Sky is licensed in Texas. I hear this almost daily from folks who talk to agents who do not know their own business practices. There are Blue Sky representitives in Texas and other states who can handle your business.
