Thanks for taking the pictures Chip. I’ll send them to the shop in Oregon tomorrow. These should be enough to get a solid price, I was thinking I’d have to ship them mine to be sure the brackets are in the correct place.

Do you think the brackets are the same for every Bluebird or they welded them in place for every Bird and will be different ?

The hinge and bracket may just hold the rad. Took it apart a number of days ago and I'm not picturing it in my mind right now. Need to look at all the parts again. Long day

3" by the look of it. Not sure how much clearance between that and the fan. Some have said they went to 5 row from 4.

5 rows may not be as good as 4 rows,or even 3 rows.
Theres lots of changes going on in the radiator world.
Bigger tubes,smaller tubes etc.
On my new LXI rad i went to less tubes, but they are bigger, they flow better and theres more surface area in the tube.

Everybody has a different idea,so YMMV.
Do some research before you spend your money.

I sent the pictures to the shop in Oregon today, I was hoping to hear back this evening but they didn’t get back to me. They said the have 1000s of OEM radiators that they use to make new ones from they were looking through the Bluebird stuff to see if they had one, if not they need one to make a copy.
I asked the guy about the 5 row and he said they do cool better but they pick the air picks up heat from the front rows so he wouldn’t recommend over 5.
I’m not having cooling issues with my current radiator, never gets over 180 WGN my Horton kicks in it cools right down. It just runs a bit more than I’d like in the how summer days running up the mountains in the southwest.
I think you have a good point Randy with the bigger tubes and more surface area.
