Default Hello Everyone...Looking at a 450 Lxi

Hello All...
My wife and I are closing in on retirement and are looking at coaches...
I have found one that is about 4 hours from me that seems to be what we are looking for...
It is a 2006 450 Lxi...
Lots of upgrades and updates with new tires, inverter, front paint, etc...
Coach appears to be in very good condition and the price is IMHO excellent...
My father owned 7 coaches in his lifetime with the last three being American Eagles...
I guess my biggest question is finding parts support for this coach...
As I understand Wanderlodge parts are not that difficult to find...
Just any insights on the coach in general...

call Randy at byebyebluebird
he is referred to as Mr Wanderlodge around these parts.
Huge rally very soon in GA with 100 + wanderlodges there too including some 450's to talk to the owners and see what they have to say. Quite possibly some for sale as well.
best place to go for an education for sure.

We have a 06 450 and love it, had it for about 5 years. 2 birds before that and lots of other coaches in the past 30 years. This is the place to learn and for support. I would be glad to talk with you and try to answer a question and direct you in the right direction.

WOG rally in Pine Mtn GA next week and great place to look and learn. Everyone is welcome.

Give me a call 864-444-4879.

welcome to the club. The only advice that I will give you is to spend a day with the previous owner if at all possible going over all of the controls and accessories. WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN!!! I know it seems as though they should be self explanatory but Bluebird made so many things redundant that it gets real confusing. For example on my FC you need to turn the A/C master switch on and shut the A/C units off at the switch on the unit in order to turn on the electric heaters.
You have just purchased the best of the best and WOG is the greatest resource that ever existed in the RV world.
Again, Congratulations and welcome to the best group ever. ( Just one newbie to another )

Darris, Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the WOG. As a fairly new owner (4 years) your head may start to spin at first. (ask me how I know). If that doesn't happen great. If it does be patient and ask lots of questions on here. Pretty soon you too will know your bird inside and out. They truly are amazing machines even by todays standards

Thank you for the suggestions. The owner went over all of the controls yesterday. I should have made a video of it. Things are starting to make a little sense. My father had several coaches and I am familiar with a lot of the control functions and features but this 450 is something else. I will video the basics again when I get the coach in several weeks. Boy she is a beautiful example of American ingenuity and craftsmanship. My father's 03 Eagle was a great unit but does not compare to this 450.
